On November 17 to 24, 2024 anti-war and democratic communities of Russians are holding a global rally.
November 19th marks 1000 days since Russian troops began their full-scale invasion of Ukraine. A thousand days of struggle, resilience and courage of Ukrainians who continue to fight for their freedom and independence. And a thousand days of anti-war Russians supporting Ukraine, helping the Ukrainian people to stand their ground and opposing Putin's regime, which waged a despicable war.
The action will begin on November 17 together with the
march in Berlin, initiated by Russian politicians Ilya Yashin, Yulia Navalnaya and Vladimir Kara-Murza. The initiators invite everyone to participate in the Berlin event, whose main demands are: the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine and the establishment of a just peace with guarantees of non-aggression; the condemnation of Vladimir Putin as a war criminal; and the release of all political prisoners.
These demands will be supported at rallies of Russians in different parts of the world. At the protest events, Russians will honor the memory of war victims, demonstrate once again their solidarity with the people of Ukraine, recall the terrible consequences of a full-scale war, and the need for international support for Ukraine.
During the global campaign, funds will be raised around the world to help hospitals and schools in Ukraine as part of the
Energy for Life project.
